Lear more about DynDNS at: Wikipedia (English), Wikipedia (Deutsch)
The Dynamic DNS (short "DynDNS) service allows you to alias a dynamic IP address to a static hostname, allowing your computer to be more easily accessed from various locations on the Internet. By other words people will be able to access your server(s) (http, ftp) by symbolic name like yourname.dyndns.org. This service is usefull for dialup users who would like to point to the computer where VisionGS is running on (e.g. to use the implemented Http Server / Livestream).
If you are starting to use DynDNS for the first time, you may use a pre-installed DynDNS-Service, VisionGS is supporting a few, e.g.:
"dtdns.com", "dhs.org" and "dyndns.org" .. but you may also start your own DynDNS-Service (free!), click here for more information.
You may perform a Google search for more information regarding this topic or browse the following documents as DynDNS is a third party product. Please note that we are not responsible for the content of the following links.
