:Round Robin with Aviosys and compatible Network IP Video Server

This article matches to the following devices:

Aviosys IP Video 9100

Aviosys IP Video 9100A Plus

Orite IP-200 Media Stream Box

and lots of others hwich look (roughly) like this (all have the same hardware).

Short comment from me: I don't like this Video Server as it is very simple and cheap (and stupid..) hardware. It is impossible with this device to select a channel in realtime, like all quality Video Servers can (e.g. "/video.cgi?channel=2"). You have to select a channel before each capture, then wait a few seconds* until the Video Server has reacted and internally switched the channel and after that perform the capture. This takes a lot of time and produces corrupted frames sometimes.

To enable round robin (jumping from channel to channel automatically) just set the channel to one of the (example) choices (4 factorial possibilities) as shown below (#Channel, enabled Ports):

#	 p1 p2 	p3 	p4
257 [x] [ ] [ ] [ ]
259 [x] [x] [ ] [ ]
263 [x] [x] [x] [ ]
271 [x] [x] [x] [x]
264 [ ] [ ] [ ] [x]
268 [ ] [ ] [x] [x]
270 [ ] [x] [x] [x]

and so on...pretty simple, like the hardware of this video server itself ;-)

* The delay between each command is 12 seconds by default, you may change this decimal value!! with "regedit.exe" at
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\VisionGS\General] -> AviosysCmdDelay
